Internship Machine Vision (60-100%)
(6‑month duration, earliest start: June 2026)

Responsibilities

• Evaluating use cases in classical computer vision and machine learning
• Assessing the usability of industrial cameras in combination with our vision framework
• Prototype setup with one or more cameras in industrial environment, collect data
• Supporting data normalization workflows based on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Building the foundation for performance measurement and automated labeling in production
• Analyzing images using vision algorithms
• Documenting findings and results

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, software engineering, or microtechnology (HF/FH/University)
• Solid software development skills (Python, C/C++, Windows and/or Linux)
• Experience with camera systems and image processing (OpenCV, HALCON) as well as machine learning
• Knowledge of MLOps is a plus
• Strong teamwork skills, creativity, and an innovative mindset
• Fluent in English and/or German
