Postdoc position in 3D Computer Vision, remote sensing

Description

The Laboratory of Visual Intelligence for Transportation ( VITA ) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of Generative AI. VITA research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Vision, Machine Learning (Deep Learning), and Human-Robot Interaction to redefine how machines interpret human actions, anticipate intentions, and interact seamlessly with people in various settings. The successful candidate will be developing new methods for remote sensing.

Profile

• PhD in Computer Vision
• Background in Computer Science
• Research experience in 3D Computer Vision, remote sensing and aerial imagery
• Strong computational and analytical skills, as well as experience handling large datasets
• Independent, creative, and solution-oriented
• Good interpersonal skills, team player
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
