AI Platform Engineer

Description

At Rapidata we are building the interconnect between Artificial and all of human intelligence, already reaching millions every day. Our customers constantly push the boundaries of what human feedback systems can do. Your role is to make their most ambitious ideas work by testing and implementing new features and approaches. We’re looking for a super driven person at the intersection of product, engineering and customer use cases, deeply understanding our platform and shaping how it can be applied to novel workflows. You will frequently run experiments and directly respond to customer requests.

As the company grows over the coming months and years you will shape how this role and its responsibilities will adapt. This role can be filled and adapted to a wider range of seniority, which the requirements also reflect.

Requirements

• Ability to context switch well enough to still be productive on a hectic day.
• Proficiency in Python
• Pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Ability to reason about system trade-offs (latency, cost, reliability, scalability)
• Knowledge of how to use Claude Code or similar effectively
• Knowledge on how to navigate and query databases
• Good communication skills
• Intrinsic drive & motivation
• Very comfortable with English
• Ability to work in person in Zürich most days.
