Responsibilities

  • You support the design and documentation of agent personas and system prompt instruction files to define the behaviour and scope of language models
  • Building on this, you help develop modular skills and functions that agents can use to perform specific tasks
  • In this context, you contribute to breaking down complex tasks into manageable sub-agents and coordinating their interactions
  • Additionally, you assist in applying structured state and task management methods, such as todo lists or session tracking, to monitor progress across multi-step tasks
  • Complementing these activities, you work on prompt engineering by formulating clear system prompts and instructions to ensure reliable model outputs

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled at a Swiss university or university of applied sciences in the field of artificial intelligence
  • Experience with agent design, including writing agent personas and system prompt instruction files
  • Skilled in building modular functions for agents and have knowledge of multi-agent orchestration patterns
  • Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools is a plus
  • You are committed to a two-year engagement in a part-time working student role
  • You work independently, demonstrating reliability and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent English skills are required, German is an advantage
