Junior Software Engineer

Description

You have recently completed your studies and enjoy writing software for a Language AI Company. You take responsibility, make technical decisions and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve our SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

• Development, optimization and operation of our SaaS platform
• Focus on software localization or backend development
• Contribution to initiatives for product development, especially with regard to multilingualism and international markets
• Close collaboration with our software developers in various fields (frontend, backend, research and development)

Qualifications

• Completed university degree (FH / university / ETH) in computer science or comparable education
• Several years of programming experience in 1-2 common programming languages
• Strong interest in AI-supported applications
• Proactive, solution-oriented personality with high drive and the ability to tackle things independently
• Fluent German and/or English
• CH or EU/EFTA citizenship or a valid work permit for Switzerland

Bonus

• Experience with common tools/platforms for software localization (Lokalise, Transifex, etc.) and professional translation (CAT tools such as RWS Trados, MemoQ, etc.)
• Experience with container orchestration and writing REST APIs
• Basic knowledge of language processing with artificial intelligence (NLP)
• Further language skills in addition to German and English
