Senior AI Platform Engineer – Microsoft AI Stack (80-100%)

Join our Data & AI Solutions Hub at Vontobel, where we’re building an enterprise-grade agentic engineering platform using Microsoft AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Power Platform. You’ll work end-to-end across low-code, pro-code, and hybrid setups—depending on the use case—while ensuring security, governance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Build and operate a secure, enterprise-grade agentic engineering platform across the Microsoft AI Stack (Microsoft 365 + Azure).
• Establish reusable platform capabilities for internal teams, including standardized development environments, secure identity and networking patterns, governance guardrails, and production-ready observability.
• Enable teams to deliver and scale agentic AI solutions efficiently in a regulated banking environment, using Microsoft AI Foundry, Fabric, and Power Platform.
• Shape how teams build, deploy, and run agentic AI solutions across low-code and pro-code lifecycles, and contribute to Microsoft-aligned roadmap discussions (e.g., Foundry IQ sessions).

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, ideally with at least 5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, application engineering, or AI/ML engineering.
• Hands-on experience across the Microsoft AI Stack (Microsoft 365 + Azure), with strong depth in Microsoft AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Strong DevOps/MLOps skills (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, monitoring/alerting) to run AI platform capabilities reliably in production.
• Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
